Nescafé Original. Full flavour behavior.

I was the Creative Director on this award-winning TV campaign for Nescafé Original, which was created to make the brand more fun and relevant to young coffee drinkers. Written by Rick Chant & Barney Hobson, the campaign was a brave step for the conservative brand and meant taking the brand team way outside of their comfort zone. The risk paid off and for the first time we managed to make Nescafé 'cool' for teenagers. The ads were directed by Vaughn Arnell, featured a cameo appearance by the great Alan Whicker and a reworking of the Tone Loc track 'Funky cold medina'.
