Nescafé Hot When You Want self-heating coffee in a can.

I was the Creative Director on this launch campaign created by Mike Benson & Gary Marjoram for Nescafé's innovative self-heating coffee in a can. The idea used a crazy Japanese spokesman to demonstrate the product and showed how it fitted into a busy urban lifestyle. The Advertising was a massive success and the product totally sold out within two days, but unfortunately so many of the cans failed to heat up properly that there were few return sales.
