The incredible story of Russian Standard Vodka.

My latest global campaign for Russian Standard Vodka features the Emmy Award-nominated U.S. filmmaker, futurist and performance philosopher Jason Silva. The campaign explores the incredible convergence of science and nature that make Russian Standard so ultra pure and delicious. The content has parallels to Jason’s YouTube channel ‘Shots of Awe’, which has millions of subscribers. The new work builds on my successful ‘Vodka as it should be' campaign which has helped Russian Standard become the world's number 1 premium Russian vodka, the fastest growing vodka brand in the top 30 global vodkas by volume and to grow by 45% in the UK becoming the UK's number 2 best selling vodka. I co-created the online, TV and cinema spots with Jason Silva, production company Great Guns and post-production company Mainframe. Shot in Russia and the UK the films were directed by Calum MacDiarmid, Jean Poisson and US director Ron Fricke, best known for the ground-breaking documentary films Baraka and Samsara. The campaign launched at an exclusive event at London’s Science Museum, where Jason Silva delivered an address on how patterns in the natural world are being re-imagined in science.
