As the EMEA Creative Director on Motorola I created and oversaw a lot of campaigns and ads for their constantly evolving technology. Some of the first I did was for the Motorola V. (the world's smallest phone at the time), a beautiful and stylish flip phone aimed at women. Colin Selikow and I wrote the ads which were art directed by Bill Thompson and shot by Nick Knight. The campaign featured Jodie Kidd wearing Matthew Williamson clothes to link with Motorola's sponsorship of his early London fashion shows. A special 6 page feature in Vogue using the photography and building wraps in central London helped the V. become the must have phone of the season.
